Unpopular (?) Opinion: WWE style wrestling is not a sport and doesn’t belong on SportsCenter They are athletes. What they do is amazing. But it is also 💯 scripted entertainment since the results are known in advance. It’s a fantasic example and display of difficult athletic prowess but not a sport.

Happy Father’s Day to my dad, Frank, who has been gone for the past 22 Father’s Days. So I did a thing that he would have enjoyed — bottled two batches of homemade booze. Apple Pie Cello and Black Raspberry Cello in his honor. I still miss him and I know he would have loved these.

Fourth Sunday in a row that we started the day with breakfast then a 7-mile ruck/hike. Today was 7.01 miles (15,301 steps) in 2 hours, 24 minutes. Nicole was carrying 18 lbs and I had 28 lbs of weight (new weighted vest). Fantastic exercise and incredible views made it even better.

Third Sunday in a row we started our day with a ruck/hike: 7.45 miles (16291 steps) in 2 hrs and 23 minutes. I was carrying 23 lbs and she had 16.6 lbs.

Nicole and I worked our asses off today in the front and backyard. But now we will soon be graced with tomatoes, basil, wheat, corn, pumpkins and a new Arts & Crafts Trading Post for folks in the neighborhood.

Rucked/hiked this morning for 7.13 miles with 22.5 lbs of weight and took 2 hrs and 21 minutes (with 5 minute break for water & a protein bar snack). My goal is to get to 8 miles with over 30lbs so that our ruck in September (for 7 miles and 20 lbs) feels easy. Amazing scenery along the way, too.

Today we did 5.96 miles / 13,014 steps in 1 hour and 53 minutes. Nicole was rucking with 8 lbs in her pack and I was wearing an 18-pound weighted vest.
