My walking buddy and I tried the new Supreme Dumplings at Tacoma Mall for lunch today. We split shrimp fried rice and truffle mushroom roll, while I had the chicken soup dumplings and she had the veggie ones. The food was great, and the restaurant is sleek and modern. One quibble: the noise level.

The public restrooms at the Tacoma Mall food court have been closed for weeks due to remodeling. So if you want to wash your hands before eating, you have to go almost the length of the mall to an open restroom. Oh, and employees also have to make the trek, according to one I talked to. #pnw
