Straight men caring for the rights of others isn’t simping. Believing so, or being afraid of being viewed as one, is just insecurity dressed up as masculinity.

Does anyone know a professor who teaches gender studies/pop culture classes? I'd really love to get Dear Bi Men onto the syllabus of one of these classes. Please share this. 🥹🫶🏾

Remembering today that having your heart broken is a necessary step on the path to becoming fully human. Whichever heartbreak is your first, it’s probably critical that a state break your heart so that you can develop a political imagination. If this is your first, I’m sorry and also welcome.

I feel like many of you are being heavy handed with your “gym motivation”….. Looking down on people that choose not to go to the gym and being FATPHOBIC isn’t part of motivating other people to go lmao

One day someday white people I. Journalism will remember the Civil Rights Movement And won’t act like forgetting it is a sign of good politics or intellectual superiority as opposed to gleeful anti Black racism And they’ll also stop dunking on each other thinking it’s funny

💯. People can live under intolerable circumstances for centuries. Life is not a movie. It promises no resolution. Every moment of justice won requires tireless effort, and every win requires vigilance and defense for eternity. Look at the backsliding on rights we were assured wwre settled law.

Friend and comrade, I hate to tell you my own family history, let alone that of millions... for my people, it was 99 long years from the Emancipation Proclamation to the Civil Rights Act. Entire generations lived and died. (I pray that the fire this time is kinder. I do pray.)

Europeans and Canadians often like to do this thing where they cast all the world's sins on Americans and Russians. Similar to when white Americans outside the U.S. South try to portray it as some singularly racist place. One call to your area's version of Black folk will dispel that notion.

Paris Rabone's “Marrow” is a jazz-soaked, avant-garde study of loss and heartbreak
Encompassed by a slurry of synth passages and the familiar warble of a Fender Rhodes tremolo, on his debut release, London-based artist Paris Rabone pulls listeners into his rain-slicked world.

I haven’t watched the whole thing. But since I did go to college I am gonna analyze it as presented as its own complete object. We can do both and the false dichotomy is really very frustrating knowing what we know about incarceration and intellectualism Being valued is what develops intellect

The Montgomery bus boycott was meant to disrupt city life and use Black consumer power to force the bus company and the city to address Black demands. As
