my parents actually fucked up while teaching me how to read because they didnt include the "books have a progressive order" thing. this is something i still struggle with, i don't like to read things that i can't just sort of "skip around" in.

"changeling" isn't a mythical term. it's a label that was applied to disabled children to dehumanize them so the abuse put on them was more tolerable, more okay to people. every "myth" is just a horribly malicious interpretation of actual disabled childrens behaviors.

Saw someone recently say they want to reclaim the term "oaf" after learning it meant changeling. Didn't know how to tell them that "oaf" still has connections to changlings today, the thing is, changlings were disabled children. it's just another way to call you disabled. that's why its an insult.
