My laptop issues last month delayed me a bunch but after acen and fanime i'll be back to posting art more regularly 🙏 feels like i havent uploaded any big artworks since october of last year 😭

I need to keep my fans at turbo speed for now and my room sounds like i'm inside a plane, but I finally managed to fix the BSOD screens 😎

I ended up making a very expensive executive decision.................. will open preorders next month! hoping it goes well and I can at least make back the mold fees 💦

SHE CAME BACK TO BSKY TO BLOCK ME 3 MONTHS LATER???? LMFAO

After a lot of troubleshooting I was able to fix it for a day but today the issue came back 😔 At least it's not happening every 10 minutes now and just every couple hours again All the stress tests I ran came back ok, so I hope a windows reinstall will fix it (whenever I have the time to do it)

Thought I would at least have a month or two to figure it out because the BSODs happen 3-4 times then it stops for a good couple hours but now it's every 10 minutes oh welllllllllll 🧎 dies

Laptop giving me funny messages again, backing up my files and waiting for the worst bc I can't afford to replace any parts atm🥀 People keep telling me 5 years for a laptop is past their expected lifetime but my previous $400 potato laptop lasted me like 10 years and this one was like x3 that 😭

Unfortunately all my bluescreen problems are pointing out to be hardware/RAM related so I for now i'll just have my CSP autosave set to every 5 minutes

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Reminder that pinning an image-only feed is peak. People tend to say what annoys them, but show what they enjoy. So vibes are always better. It also makes interacting with art/cool things way easier. And its helped me be online more without flooding my brain with the bad. bsky.app/profile/why....

People who use genAI suck, but nothing will piss me off more than ACTUAL artist who clearly know how to draw turn around and trace AI as if that's any better. My disappointment is unmeasurable.
