His new diabetic med had helped decrease his blood sugar f/503 to 280 in 5 days, so he's doing better, slowly. His fur is getting shinier & softer, too. Teddy makes #6 cats for us + 1 dog. They all get along great. He sleeps on my pillow & likes sitting on the couch w/us after wk. 🐾🖤🐈‍⬛

He was prescribed flea & worm meds, but had diabetes, which we suspected f/the lg amt of h20 he drank. His chip read 2011, so he's at least 14. Teddy is so sweet though, despite the hell he's been through- homeless, sick, & starving. (Cont.)

After having our kitty 4 days, we took him to the vet for a full exam. He has fleas & worms, so we are taking care of that. He's eating well & his fur is already getting a shine to it. He loves head butts & purrs often. I'm still thinking of a name for him. Our newest & 6th kitty🐾🐈‍⬛

Here's our newest sweetheart! A neighbor found him & he was literally starving & had a collar embedded in his neck that she cut off. Afraid he wouldn't be adopted at a foster place or taken to a shelter & euthanized, I had to have him. He is the sweetest kitty, despite whatever hell he's been thru.

Today would've been my dad's 93rd bday, if he hadn't passed last Oct. Even though we'd been estranged for yrs, it never meant I didn't love him. After remarrying when i was 14, he was no longer the same towards me. He broke my heart for decades. I still miss him terribly. At 1 time, we were close.
