as an animator i can't stress enough how important it is to take breaks and do activities that DON'T involve drawing read a book, watch a movie, play a game, learn how to knitt. you'd be surprised how quickly your creative juices get replenished by just enjoying yourselves

Any body ever had that weird argument with another artist about tracing? I don't mean the typical sense. I mean having a reference put to the side and then recreating that reference on a separate piece of paper and just going off what you're looking at and not layering the canvas over image.
