Curiously, some of Hayao Miyazaki’s early concepts for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind featured dragons! In some ways Dragon Dowsers is taking those abandoned ideas and merging them with the solarpunk themes and setting of the classic Studio Ghibli film.

Lost's family came from the upper burrow ($$$). He lives in a meritocracy, however, & tested poorly despite tutors. His family took the stance that he's lazy & undisciplined so they let the full bureaucracy fall on him "to learn his lesson". Presently he lives in poverty in the lower burrow.

For me, 1/2 day for line art, 1 day for color. When we did comics my wife worked at 1 to 1.5 days per page from nothing to full color. She's much better than I am. What I did back then was flatting so that was 2-3 pages a day. Your fee= your page rate * 250 work days a year. $150/page minimum TBH
