Truly: nobody cares when you’re older in furry except the youngest ones in it, and I don’t see any of them stepping up to organize the cons and events that keep our community going. The furries that paved the way for me are helping me pave the way for the next generation of even weirder people.

Need to be brave and schedule some scary doctors appointments and I keep putting it off and I don’t think that’s helping anything or anyone :/

Ugh having that “creativity engines are firing” feeling but I want to rest after a long trip. If I give in to the lazy, the engines will shut down so I have to act and that’s the worst part of being a creative professional. Inspiration is like weather, and we have to make hay while the sun shines.

Thinking about when were in line for Soarin’ and playing Heads Up (animals) and the ladies behind us kept laughing like it was a private show for them. It was pretty cute. But I guess most people’s first prompt for “slug” wouldn’t immediately be “homeless snail”, either.

Got my first ever actual pixie dusting yesterday from a CM! He was doing the thing where they draw characters on the pavement with water and a broom cut into a paintbrush. I told him he had the coolest job! He gave me a leaf that’d been hole punched with Stitch! Ephemeral art like this is neat!
