Crossworlds has some of my favorite characterization in a while. It's just fun to see Sonic characters who rarely or never interact all get multiple lines of unique dialogue with each other - in a spinoff kart-racing game of all things.

I'm seeing people claim Toby explicitly confirms Chara follows you on all routes or even that Toby confirmed the narrator theory. But I can't find any direct quotes confirming that. "Now there is one person left to save: Chara" can certainly be read that way, but is that it? Anything more direct?

I like these interactions. Sage is confident that Eggman does love her (she literally calls herself his beloved daughter, after all), but it hasn't softened him up or made him any less dedicated to conquest. It's exactly the right balance of "good dad, bad dude" I want for Eggman.

I've remarked on this before, but old video games cartoons would often take the antagonist - who was usually an active combatant in the games - and make them a coward who avoided fighting in the show. This happened to Bowser, King K. Rool, Dr. Robotnik, King Dedede, and many others. (1/2)

In Super Mario Odyssey, kicking things is Mario's highest priority, overriding all other actions. If a kickable object, such as a football, is thrown at Mario while he is asleep, he will momentarily wake up just to kick it before instantly going back to sleep.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, DK follows objects of interest with his eyes. However, he has an incredibly short attention span. Whenever a new object enters his vision, his attention is drawn to it instead. If many objects are moving, he will be distracted by each new one.

I've been playing Outcome Memories and playing as Eggman is so fun it makes me draw him (plus Metal Sonic because he's peak)

This is like what a Super Mario Bros. Super Show movie might have looked like. I love it.

The two 2D Bubsy revival games really felt like cynical cash-grabs coasting on irony in order to sell. Extremely short and uninspired games whose entire gimmick was "Bubsy is back." But Bubsy 4D looks legitimately good? I'm honestly surprised by how genuinely fun the platforming looks.
