CPTSD survivors have to be real careful to be gentle w/ ourselves when we're trying to get sh*t done. Survivors of verbal & emotional abuse especially can shut down in a hurry when we try to pull that "tough love" "drill sergeant" routine to try to "motivate" ourselves.

Late & imperfect is better than not done. Trauma Brain will try to tell us we can't do "anything" right, but the truth is, survivors often just need a little time, a little grace, & a little self-forgiveness (easier said, I know) to keep up w/ our projects & goals. Easy does it.
