I hate to resort to this but these are the times we live in. My wife was laid off from her job in May of last year. I lost my job in 20 due to pandemic. We've been surviving by siphoning off our retirement savings, but we're both pushing 50 and the lack of decent insurance is literally killing us.

for Canada people—I am definitely aware of the current Canada post strike. Since most of my items are pre-orders, they will not be shipping for some time. If the strike is ongoing when I am ready to ship, I will ship via UPS🫡

to my Etsy buyers, if you are still running into the issue of an item doubling the shipping, I have opened up the “request a custom order” option on my shop. This allows me to still collect any VAT information I need for international sales but still ensure shipping price remains accurate on my end🫡
