This new Deftones is AWESOME. Some of the best actual songwriting they’ve ever done. It’s so different but the arrangements and the dynamics are amazing. It’s anthemic and shifting around into soaring melodies. There’s still some deep crunch but sonically maybe the biggest leap they’ve ever taken.
