Found my mom flat on her back in her apartment after she suffered a stroke or blood pressure event. She’s in one hospital and my stepdad is in another hospital. If you have kids, please make a plan for your old age. My mom and stepdad don’t/didn’t have one…and it sucks.

I just worked a 12-hour day on my busted-ass knees - my “truck knee” and my “hatchet knee.” And they are both in such deep chronic pain mode. Ugh.

My grandmother claimed to have invented the corn dog and also that Pronto Pup on the Oregon Coast stole the recipe from her. I believed her then and still do now - the woman was an angel. Anyway, don’t eat corn dogs for now.

200 members of the Oregon National Guard are about to be tasked with “restoring law and order” (or some such shit) in my city. I hope they are all as embarrassed as I am. Talk about a shithole country.
