America needs to pass a law mandating voting. Other Democratic countries do it. It should be REQUIRED for every person to place a vote as their civic duty. Too many people check out of politics, because they think it doesn't affect them. Making people vote would make them be involved.

Ever notice how fast government can move when it wants to make things worse for people? Voting rights, abortion rights, pollution permits, war? It moves SO FAST. I dont remember the last time i saw government move fast to make our lives better. It drives me crazy.
