After finalizing my last experiment I was able to successfully synthesize a serum to turn test subjects into shiny puffy inflatables! Now...open that muzzle, with just this one dose we'll have you squeakin' and creakin' in no time at all! You'll have that summer beach body all year ROUND!

Today's though: it's the first day of Hogust, why am I not fully covered in goopy pink liquid pig latex and why am I not being inflated into a huge pig...not fair...

You know how some animals tend to go limp when you grab their scruff?  What if it's the same for pool toy critters but it's when you grab their nozzle.  Going completely stiff when you pop the nozzle out but still able to speak and look around...totally immobile for inflation or deflation...

Small, tired, superego: Come on, it's time to focus on work!  You can do it! Unshackled, free and unrestrained ID: NO!  THINK ABOUT BEING A MAD SCIENTIST AND GETTING OVERPOWERED BY A TEST SUBJECT AND FORCED INTO YOUR OWN CONTRAPTION FOR A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE!  YES!  YESSSSSSS!!!

Sometimes, during experiments, test subjects can become a little panicked. So I've started using guided meditation with their eyes closed, telling them to imagine their paws are covered in cool liquid rubber that creeps up their legs. No no...don't open your eyes, that feeling is all in your head.

I want a big, bulbous, retro looking, stupid ray gun with a big dumb dial I can turn to an almost infinite amount of settings. Rubber? Yup. Inflate? Sure. Transform? Why not. Disintegrate? Absolutely.

Note to self: need to look into rubber injection molds for the lab... Different species are fun but a fully blank one would be interesting too, very moldable...into whatever I want...

It's oh so much fun to watch someone run around and panic as they adjust to their new size after being blasted by a shrink ray...but it's more fun to pick them up in my gloved paw and dangle them over my open maw...knowing that I COULD drop them in and gulp them down...maybe...

I have an overwhelming need today to be at the helm of a contraption, twisting dials, adjusting sliders, switching big electrical levers while a helpless toon is strapped to a chair, in the center of a big red X, sweating in panic as they're waiting for the metaphoric, and actual, hammer to drop...

You know, teasing a test subject strapped to an exam table myself is fun and all but I do highly enjoy a hands off approach too! I prefer setting up elaborate Rube Goldberg machines so they can watch their impending fate get closer and closer through a series of wacky contraptions going off!

Someone once asked me if I ever get caught in my own traps and the answer is of course, on purpose in fact.  Sometimes they look like too much "fun" and I just HAVE to know what they're like on the receiving end...for research of course... Each of us must expand the field of knowledge for science!

I am looking for someone to assist in testing some new trap...I mean, inventions in the lab. I seem to have lost my last assistant, haven't been able to locate them after "they" triggered one of the devices. No matter, they are a dime a dozen...anyways, care to lend a hand?

The straps on the exam table are nothing for you to worry about, those are there for your comfort after all! Can't have you wiggling away! Hmm, what's that? Oh the hose? Yes...that you can worry about. I promised you a job with lots of "growth" potential didn't I... >:)

Pi day is different for inflatable creatures. While toons are busy slinging tins of whipped treats at each other we're trying to get as round as possible...whether intentionally or accidentally. Unfortunately this makes us easy targets for wayward toons with excess baked goods...

While normally a pool toy, ferrets have been know to be turned into drones from time to time...doesn't mean it isn't completely pumped full of air still... 🎨: @sheenahyena.bsky.social

I bet pool toy friends would make good movie theater companions.  Just fill up their tail chamber with whatever drink you might want to sneak in.  The nozzle at the tip probably helps for handy dispensing too.  Plus, if the seat sucks they can double as an inflatable cushion!

Sometimes during winter pool toys deal with Seasonal Affective Deflation.  However, a simple adjustment to their psi should compensate for the cold.  Just remember to adjust back before it warms up...

If I didn't want to be objectified I wouldn't be a toy.

Sometimes I have to prove to myself that I can still cook after not cooking for awhile. So baked mac and cheese from scratch it was!
