It’s not something that I talk about very often, but I am quite dyslexic and “dyslexia-friendly” fonts are harder to read because they mess with letter shapes and break the recognition skills that allow me to read at speed. (the same is true for many display fonts, but those are used sparingly)

Tonight in #runequest, one of my players charged a bandit, who struck first, rolled a critical and my player failed their dodge. 18 points of damage ignoring armour to the abdomen. Whoops, dead character. That’s Runequest.

Almost ready with the other new release for @epigram.games due out for Salute (cutting it close, I know). A pair of new fighting vehicles with interchangable sponsons and the tank has a pair of magnetisable turrets.

I hate 3D printers with every bone of my body. I have probably spent about five hours trying to clean this goddamn resin printer, and every step of the way it has thrown up new problems. If I had literally any other option at this point, I would probably take it.

It will go for some final proofing this weekend, and then unless anything major is wrong, it'll go for printing on Monday. Just to build on this one a little bit more: when I started writing software professionally now 13 years ago a lot of the people around me in the industry shunned IDEs as taking them too far from the craft of writing actual software, and now many of those same people are raving about LLM slop.
