It’s been 5 years since I moved to Texas and began working in the anime dubbing sphere. I’ve had amazing experiences and met wonderful people, but I’ve made some observations I can’t ignore. One of them is that there are simply a lot of emotionally unhealthy/immature people in this biz. 🫤

Anime Director: This industry values new faces and veterans, so actors in the middle sadly get underutilized. 🙁 Anyone: Okay, cast them! Anime Director: No. 😊 - It’s like the “Thoughts and prayers” of anime dubbing. The reason is often corporate, clients and producers, but still. 😅

I’ve had a mountain of voice work to catch up on after vacation and I can now officially say that Reaper is awesome. I learned to walk again very quickly. 😎

I realized something today. When it comes to Digimon, I’m most aesthetically attracted to the v-pet sprites, the original figurines & their designs in Digimon World. It finally hit me that I like Digimon best when they’re chibi. Digimon should be little chode boys! And you can quote me on that.
