Jacoby got a nice new cage update, after putting it off for way too long. A more appropriate substrate, much MUCH deeper in the cave, and the anatopism of jungle decor and desert decor. More clutter to come soon, but he’s a pretty confident guy so for now it’s aesthetically pleasing 😂

I cleaned up the old lady (she’s 16!) and oh my gosh I love this look for her so much, it is too precious and watching her run around is ADORABLE!!! I don’t support shaving a healthy young Pomeranian but at her age, she’s earned easy coat care!

Hotdog was inside for a few days very sick and I was very worried I would lose her. After just three days of medicine she’s feeling so much better and back out with the rest of the birds 🙏 Lexi also got to interact with her in a calm setting, and did amazing!

They did great for their first night, and they got lots of love today. The little roo is such a cuddler, he’s gonna be so awesome. I hope Seymour accepts him into the flock cos I don’t want to build another pen!

Poor little babies, going out with the big birds for the first time. Hopefully in 1-3 weeks they’ll be able to leave the kennel and be with the rest of the birds. For now, they get all the sights and sounds of coop life in a small warm kennel.

I overdid it the last couple days, the severe insomnia last night ruined me, so I’m just window shopping online for things to make my house look gooder. This place is gonna look like an absolute cottage by the time I move out.

Insomnia level 5000, woke up at 8am yesterday, didn’t fall asleep til 630am today, woke up at 10am, super frustrated. I’m on a post-cancer drug for 5-10 years and the insomnia side effect is brutal.

Moved the pet shelf into the closet, now there’s so much more room in the kitchen. I’m pretty excited to finish cleaning up! Gonna put a light in the closet so it’s not so dark, and maybe I’ll paint or wallpaper it or something to be extra. For now, I’m very happy with this!
