Also I cannot claim I'm very invested but Anf and I watched the Homestuck pilot. Not all of it works but some things did- like how they handled the question of how do you adapt a story that's happening largely in text and chat logs. Did not like the narrator style though, wrong vibe for the lines

Something completely benign I've been thinking about is this tendency for people online to address a person in a gender neutral way by calling them "a human". Why human and not just person/people? "one of my favorite humans" "a beautiful human". It sounds so odd to me!

I took a big step back from adult art commissions (and commission work in general) because I got very burned out. Part of that was also having to deal with compartmentalizing my work and jumping through insane loopholes to share my work. It's only going to get worse if we don't keep making noise.

Re: bluesky TOS, I went through the same song and dance with the genius moderation staff at patreon, where I asked how exactly they intend to determine consent from images that contain bdsm, which they more or less admitted was impossible aside from a character verbally saying "I want this" lol

We went to the Anchorage museum and oh my goodness, if you’re ever in the area you must go. It has so many beautiful exhibits with detailed explanations directly from the voices of different indigenous groups in Alaska, including both historical and contemporary art. We spent all day there!
