the shell powerup i've been working on is too "fun" to work as a powerup alone, so i think it's better as a playable character doing that will let me make my own powerups that increase or decrease control. in this case, omnidirectional boosting

been a bit burnt on drawing, decided to make a 3D model of Laz from Battlemage! Turnaround in the replies!

the turnaround! the way this model looks is actually very VERY vaguely inspired by kingdom hearts, specifically how characters have shading painted onto their textures instead of using in-engine lighting so his materials are completely unshaded! just textures n vertex colors!

It’s been a few weeks since the jam ended, but we wanted to release a (mostly) bug-free demo before posting about it. We’re now working on the full release with a revamped progression system, procedural levels, and co-op mode. Until then, the demo should give you a good feel for the core gameplay.
