i used to draw sprites in a kind of cave story-esque style a lot, but i don't think i've ever bothered to try working with the cave story+ sprite style (granted it's the same, just upscaled) friend mentioned it'd be funny to draw my one Tomodachi Life resident, Gale, in a loosely similar style

adeline has a crush on gale now, and she was sad about an interaction with gale's girlfriend so i bring gale in to cheer her up and she pulls the ol' faithful "you're a dumb motherfucker" and it actually works to cheer her up

in reality, if the game is going to have no online communication. it only feels fair that they revitalize interest in the game this way maybe they won't. maybe I just gotta wait for a game that's basically just Animal Crossing with Tomodachi Life character creation and modding support

okay, Tomodachi Life a month in: still playing it and having fun with it. that said, i hope we get a post-launch update that adds some new stuff to keep it from going stale. there's a lot they can do to make the game *way* more fun in the long term

i think the coolest that Metal Sonic has ever looked was in Sonic the Fighters like, it's just his normal design, but whenever he attacks there's this particle effect that emits off of his claws. i've always felt like this was one of the coolest visuals in the entire game

i think nintendo should have tried to incorporate streetpass into the switch/switch 2 in some form they could have done something like.. incorporate it into one of the joycons so you could just bring it with you and then come home to see who you passed
