The getting new players into MtG via UB sets makes sense. Comparable to how Lego makes impossible not to buy or not to get gifted a set, with all your favorite franchises being in Lego. But I dont believe for a second that the current pace of releases will keep new players in MtG for long

Subjective observation: If I play someone for the first time and they say 'Technically my deck is a three' and DONT follow it up with some context proactively - Chances are high the game is going to be less fun due to at least one person having their own interest as top priority
