My hobbies are when asked about my hobbies by strangers, to mumble MtG, to follow it up by looking for online singles.

Back from our first time MtG vendor experience at CardCon. The question we got asked the most, by far? 'Do you sell Riftbound?' Although many werent MtG players, I wonder what the product fatigue in the MtG scene, combined with the emergence of a broader TCG market will do for Magic.

That post TCG-Con moment: Under a steamy hot shower, putting your forehead against the wall and just stand there thinking nothing CardCon was fun!

Hot take: A reason why some players also feel frustration in the current Hasbro MtG cashgrab, is the addiction to buying MtG really surfaces. Skipping a set doesnt please the dopamine/serotonine monster

The issue I feel people are confused about with the brackets, is because of a quote I hear flying around in our Discord and playdays: 'Technically my decks a 2, because no GCs' I think its not clear 0 GCs doesnt decide the bracket. Im pretty sure a b4 Godo without GCs for instance would do fine

I want to create my own 'MtG the Horde' as a board game to play with nonMtG friends With pretty straightforward, but powerful decks around UB characters, to give it a Marvel Ultimate Alliance co-op vibe. But Horde seems to have many versions/ options in rules/Horde deck setup etc. Any tips? #mtg
