Using chart examples we'll examine charts that do and don't conform to the queer signatures as assigned by Hellenistic authors in order to ask what is the purpose of looking for queerness in a natal chart. Together we'll develop some expansive ways of thinking about queerness in astrology.

This talk will look at some of the chart signatures for queerness given to us by Hellenistic authors like Valens, Firmicus, and Dorotheus to talk about the uses and limitations of these signatures.
