Really isnt much for me to say that hasn't already been said, but i can add my own experience in that the calls for censoring art that is too icky comes from inside the house. Not just payment processors. I've been on the receiving end of such backlash a few times and ive talked about them before.

Useful tip for navigating life: Most people do not actually hate you. They might not understand or relate to you, but most other human beings are perfectly happy to let you do you. It's only a few of them who ever feel the need or desire to scapegoat you to avoid acknowledging their own problems.
