Some soft pose studies. I just love smudging stuff.

I’m a character artist. I’m used to painting skin and hair and clothes... soft textures, basically. I found out the hard way that this approach does not work for rocks. Unless you want them to look like weirdly shiny flesh blobs instead 🤔

Remember when it was winter? It feels like a million years ago now. We had a lot of snow here in the Netherlands which was a rare experience. Here’s some paintings inspired by that special time ❄️ Done in Procreate!

Fabric folds are so hard. At least for me. The more detail I add the more they start to look like frosting on a cake. Crispness does not come naturally to me. But I try!!

I wish I’d had more time for my art, but I still think I churned out some decent pieces. How was this year for you?

Painting over my sketches in Procreate to create colorful heads - my favorite thing to draw, so I do it over and over again.
