Won 1 Store Championship over the weekend. Felt pretty solid with my Standard list and I think I've got it tuned for what I'm running Milwaukee. Dimir Midrange it is.

As an update for Magic, I've still been judging RCQs around the Charlotte area and prepping for RC Milwaukee. Fairly certain I'm going to register a Dimir Midrange list. Been looking over recent results for updated tech and what not. I'm still liking my own spice of playing 2 Malcolm in the main.

Been awhile since I've posted an update on here since I mostly post personal stuff on Threads. Started weight loss as my goal for the year. On Ozempic, working out daily. Mental health boosted, other tangible numbers improved and down 20lbs. Started regular bi-weekly therapy. Things are good.

7-0'd my first draft of Lorwyn Eclipsed with Merfolk. THEY WERE B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Don't ask me why I got passed both of the 4-drop stunner. Card does work.

I am so disconnected from the Magic community at large, mostly because I forget to check in on BlueSky. (I'm predominantly on threads.) Plus it doesn't help that I don't have a dedicated local store so I engage with the Magic community on any level. I suppose I should fix that, eh?

Has anyone tried out the Heavy Play TCG accessories? I keep trying to minimize my tabletop footprint and make things just easier to transition during tournaments. How are the sleeves? I use DS Dual Mattes. Quality construction? Shuffle feel? How big of a difference are the rounded corners?

Current 7-3 in testing with Belcher. 4 of those were against Affinity, which I stand 2-2 as of right now. Deck feels pretty good and consistent. Might need to look at my boarding choices some. And mulligan decisions.
