I don't think I actually posted this on here, but our cat Fiona had her first litter of kittens! Only two of three survived, but they're starting to move around. Mostly staying under the old barn cupola in our front garden, but I'm sure that won't last.

One of these nights I'm gonna start Hades 2 now that it's had it's full release. But between finishing Murderbot and tonight's Fever game 5, that's gonna have to wait until tomorrow. And tomorrow is somehow already October, and the government is shutting down. Too much going on man. Too much.

Circling back to this with a small woodburning update. I already posted a few of them, but I ended up the Hollow Knight, Batman, and Fallout pieces, but I got nuts over the weekend and finished two more to add to the Extra Life set! Pushing the Pokemon set to the spring for my next event.

It's early, but the KOC QB reclamation project seems to have worked again with Carson Wentz.

Called Mayo billing. On 8/26 Verizon was down locally for me, so my scheduled video call had to be turned into an audio call on my work phone instead of a video call on my cell. Which apparently is not a covered benefit under my plan. I hate this country's medical system so deeply it defies words.

This better be a mis-applied billing code issue because in what shitty country does a phone call follow up cost you $476.00. My company insurance rep said it should have been covered and is gonna call me tomorrow.

Well, that's not a good sign for my Monday night.

In a bit of good medical news for me, my kidneys are doing well enough to upgrade from Stage 2 chronic kidney disease to Stage 1, which basically just means no more kidney doctor, just general physician monitoring via bloodwork.

Spent early Sunday afternoon out on the course. Had one of my best rounds in years. Not super impressive as scores go I know, but still, felt pretty good.

Made some sawdust to close out my Labor Day, and then chilled out watching @charalanahzard.bsky.social play Hollow Knight while tracing this Hollow Knight piece as part of my eventual Extra Life raffle this fall.

Enjoying my Labor Day trying to avoid all the water damage on the course. July and August were not kind. Still a great day though.
