I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

I've piloted starships, explored new worlds, run cities, and battled mythical monsters thanks to games. But when my dad died, me and my nephew - who thought of him as his own dad too - shared our grief and bonded over Halo co-op. Things didn't seem so bleak after he put a sticky grenade on my face.

I was playing Terminator Resistance over the weekend. Saw it on sale for £6-something, have always been curious about it despite the critical reception, and went for it. And oh wow, if you're a Terminator fan this'll get you in the first five minutes. The moment that synth music score starts!

Gaming news! I picked up Terminator: Resistance on Steam for just under £7, and of the few hours I played it's fantastic! I don't understand what the reviews were complaining about. Weapons feel hefty, the T-800s are terrifying (so far), the world feels suitably 80s... Feels like Metro: Exodus.

I don't know why, but I decided to buy and try Sonic Frontiers the other day. I haven't played a Sonic game since Generations, so I don't know why I suddenly decided to try it. And you know what? It's pretty fun! Lots of fun puzzles, interesting enemies, fun mechanics, and I quite like the world.

I've an honest question. I've been helping to financially support someone these past few months. I'm not sure I have the money anymore after this month. What can I say that it won't ruin our friendship?
