Today at Vancouver City Council, Councillor Brian Montague (North Vancouver) & Mayor Ken Sim demanded that crayon drawings by children be removed because they might intimidate the gas industry lobbyists who were there to speak in defense of fossil gas in new buildings. You can’t make this stuff up.

For posterity: some of children’s artwork that Cllr Montague found “intimidating” and ordered removed at today’s Council presentation on his amendment to re-introduce gas to future construction. Imagine how intimidated those lil kids felt coming to City Hall to present about their climate future.
