Sleepy #Caturday we're missing Teddy, who is probably napping in front of the fire!

Well, a surprisingly easy time getting all 4 into their carriers this morning! So, all are fully vaxed and Coco has had her stitch removed. All bebbies gaining weight steadily and Cleo'a diet is working as she's lost a bit (she is deceptively chonky!) The challenge was the weather...

Got to wrangle 3 kittens and a wary cat into carriers to go to vets for their boosters this morning... anyone want to place bets on how many of them actually get there?!

Bebbies Weigh-in for the new year! Aldo arrived at 0.79kg, he is now 1.2kg Coco arrived at 0.87kg and is now 1.18kg Teddy arrived at 1.05kg and is now 1.47kg So, Aldo is on the go fast and Coco is slowing down a little, and Teddy is going steadily!

2025 has been an odd year. 3 beautiful, silly cats disappeared within 5mths, 4 new crazy ones now making us laugh, hubby had a TIA, my health has been on a rollercoaster, lots of stress, & a wonderful 50th birthday with the best of friends. Hope you all have a wonderful night & an even better 2026 🥂

A little bottle into the sea - We met friends yesterday & fuddled around Bridport. I came away with a roll-end of 1991 fabric, a beautiful stoneware calvados bottle & a delightful jug, decorated with hares 😍 It's marked R, but I can't find the maker, just wondering if anyone here may recognise it?

This is a really good point that I had not run into before: these "creators" have no further insight into their alleged creation than the average audience member and that is why it cannot be called art (besides all the other obvious reasons).

It brightened up a bit so we went for a very gentle walk up to the chapel. Was entrusted with the keys to the 17th century village chapel (owned by all of us who live here) so finally got to see inside

So I am going to say something about romance as a genre. A lot of people think that romance is ignorable because <insert thing they think about romance> and romance authors don't count because <insert thing they think about romance>. This thread is not about whether you have to like romance.

Breakthrough! Covered with bebbies 😊 All 4 bebbies on the bed this morning, plus hubby!

Today, Coco is sporting the very finest in taupe sock-wear. She has adapted to her sock boobtubes really well, and seems quite content for the extra warmth

You'd never guess that these 3 were all sterilised around lunchtime today! (Well, except for Coco's fetching sock boob tube)

In bebbie weight updates, Aldo has gained 200g this week; Coco 190g; and Teddy a massive 260g! Go bebbies (and their ginormous appetites!)

Traitor!! MY Aldo has turned coat and is favouring hubby - and on #Caturday too!

Has Coco chosen her person?! We think so. She has been glued to Hubby since he came up from work in the office downstairs!

Nap time... (Cleo is under the blanket at the end of the pouffe on the floor. Everyone is very close!!)

Managed to have all 4 cats in same room, on same level today (Cleo stayed on stairs yesterday). She has sniffed at people, we've had a couple of gentle hisses (but no physical signs of stress from her) and every fur on Coco stood to attention when the 2 girls met face to face! But so far, so good!
