“…huh?” He spoke, surprised. He never considered that an option really, given the idea of the metal kingdom-

“I…just want a home.” He sighs, looking to Neo for a moment before returning his gaze to the sunset.

“I did. Myself.” He mutters, analysing Sonic’s expressions.

A heavy sigh left the fox as he simply pushes the answer button. “…I’m fine. As I told Miles, I’m capable on my own.” The kitsune folds his arms, glancing to the communicator and then the clear sky.

“Mhm.” He replies. Every Knuckles thus far seems to have a disliking for him, so he’s fine at a distance with the Echidna.

“You worried yourself sick.” He bluntly replies, moving to sit upon his metallic appendages. “I’m more than capable of protecting myself.”

“I have no need to…is that all you wanted to ask?” He huffs, rolling his eyes at all this effort just for a baseless accusation.

“Nine…not Tails.”

“…I’m not interested in that city. I owe it nothing.” He replied bluntly with a small huff.
