Finally hung the LEGO Sunflowers I built like 2-3 months ago on the wall. And got a new salon table to display the Colosseum, absolutely loving how it looks!! 🤩

Expanded my LEGO collection with the Endurance set and started building it today. Every set I’m again impressed with the design techniques and how things come together.

#FantasyIndiesApril #1 Hi, I'm Tomas! I mainly write fantasy but also dabble in scifi and cosmic horror. Current WIP is my debut "In the Heart of the Holy Sea", a fantasy-of-manners novel about the life of a man who defies the society-defining religious doctrine.

Note at the top of my revision notes: "Cut down the word count!" Reality after revising the first 10 chapters: added almost 3000 words.

When you spent half of March thinking "let's join in on the #FantasyIndiesApril tag when it starts!", only to completely forget about it for several days as April starts 😅 I'll be catching up later today once I finish revising this chapter!

Revising chapter 10, and I encountered the first sentence where I *think* there's a typo, but I also have no idea what my former self meant exactly 😂(wtf is "a weight of spread"??) "He strode slowly, each of his steps seeming to carry a weight of spread through the otherwise quiet room."

TIL it is a bad idea for me to browse the Lego site at any moment, really 🙃 On a totally unrelated note, I need more money and possibly a bigger house 😂

So it's autism awareness month. Personally, I hate that. We're aware of autism. Being aware doesn't change the stigma. It should be autism acceptance month instead. We're not a problem to be aware of, we're humans who need to be accepted. Especially now as the anti vaccine rhetoric escalates.

I’m done debating the extent of the art theft and environmental damage of using gen AI in the arts. Post it and I unfollow and block. I am so done.

I participated in - and won - NaNoWriMo in 2022 and 2023. Thought it was a cool community. Stopped participating after the shitshow with their stance on AI last year. As did many others; forums haven’t been used since June last year. Based on what I’ve read, this was a long time coming.

Today I visited quite possibly the most beautiful medieval spaces in the country- the church of St Mary, Kempley. It's famous with medieval building/art nerds like me because of its collection of intact early 12th century wall paintings. I didn't expect to see it surrounded with flowers 🌼

I don't often about the smaller medieval churches I visit, but today I visited this one, and did a little video So enjoy a mostly 13th/14th century church with the sound of a ticking clock and a raven calling outside
