On Election Day 1988, the 1st time I voted, I attended a rally that Jesse Jackson spoke at. He talked about our responsibility as citizens to vote. It blew my mind. Afterwards, he lead the crowd to the voting booths. Every time Iāve voted since then, Iāve thought of him.

This is me. I saw a consultant cardiologist for heart palpitations (they found nothing wrong) and asked if it might be menopause related. I was 45. He said I was too young. 3 months later I was back at my GP for insomnia and another BILLION tests which were all fine. Menopause was never mentioned.

Today's UK Supreme Court ruling has made me VERY happy. It's also allowed me to see people here who seem to have wilfully remained ignorant about what the ACTUAL issue has been. It has ALWAYS been about protecting women's rights. If you don't support that, well... bye, I guess...?
