Thinking again about word choice discourse in sex scenes. Not liking "folds" or "moist" because it's "icky". Personal preference is whatever, you can hate these words. Fine. However, sometimes the perceived "ick" of a word, I feel, can actually make scenes sexier. Depends on what you're going for.

I know it's not usual or even very good for a character describe their LI as "unattractive". But I've kinda done so. On purpose! He's not the main LI but it's very intentional in his character design that he's the most mid/average man ever. But that's what makes the other characters so into him.

Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.

Or, such as, whether or not the fallen angel has a breeding kink (she does)
