It took being in my forties to know how cacophony is actually pronounced. I’ve been a fool for decades saying it like “cack-a-phony.” I personally prefer that way, it sounds like it means a harsh wacky sound. Versus the accurate way that just describes a gaggle of mysterious coffins in my mind.

My dad was so excited to tell me all about how McDonald’s has Changeables again, “I remember you playing with those when you were a kid!” My dad rarely remembers the toys and collectible things I loved growing up. It is so sweet that he recalls the Changeables. Icons in the truest sense.

It may have taken a number of decades, but owning this after all these years is probably one of the biggest full circle moments of my life.

I hate when I get the title of a movie wrong from my youth. Over the years I’ve searched here and there for a Cherry 5000 dvd or blu ray and will just be astounded that one can’t be found. Until I did a proper google search and it’s like, “Oh, it’s Cherry 2000. Not 5000. That explains so much.” 🤦🏻‍♀️
