MAN ultra is so good…I love how hard they’re leaning into “Hope despite knowing how faulty/fallen humans are, reaching for goodness despite how broken we might be.” That’s always been my favorite part of Ultra. And goodness know we need some hope to hold on to this year.

Theres a lot of non-JP toku! Classic Doctor Who, the original Star Wars trilogy (and The Mandolorian, tbh), Nightmare on Elm Street, Predator, and others are all tokusatsu! Idk, I’m a toku purist in the sense of “it has to be live-action practical,” but a universalist in terms of where it’s from

Actually in recent years Andro Melos has crossed over a fair bit! He’s been featured very positively in UGF 2-3, and I hope he/other Andro Warriors appears more, they’re great. But otherwise…man I want a Gridman crossover SO BAD it’s not even funny

Fun fact about the Ultraman Arc card art: I use sumi-E/calligraphy brushes and a mechanical drafting pencil for 90% of my watercolor work. But I wanted Arc’s card to show a pencil and brushes that are used by kids Yuma’s age, and are widely accessible to any skill level.
