Went to see “40 Acres” last night. Solid and timely post apocalyptic movie, complete with very pointed reference to Parable of the Sower. Key takeaway: survival is hard but do what you must. They are literally destroying our planet and will gladly eat us alive if we don’t protect ourselves.

My husband’s grandma asked if I was crazy because I stood up to her last Christmas, and it was hard for her to experience that. Poor thing. (I told her to stop needling me.) I suggested he just say yes, I am quite crazy and she’d be wise not to mess with me. Sadly, he doesn’t want to say that.
