The Max Planck Society has begun an exploratory round table for open science. We are drafting some recommendations to leadership. Still a long way to go! But here are my notes on the most recent draft, just so you all know how I am trying to steer things.

This is especially interesting for anyone planning on manually coding a literature. Papercheck will make this much faster just by using the excellent search_text function and exporting results to an excel file for coding. But is even possible that some coding can be completely automated.

If your frequentist analysis gives the same result as a Bayesian analysis, that means nothing for either paradigm. No frequentist is bothered that Bayes "works" - they use Bayesian calculations all the time. No Bayesian is bothered that a freq estimator agrees - it's interpretation that is doubted.
