Improving the action of the dpad in this cursed controller by adding a screw and washer to pivot on preventing every direction from being able to be slammed down at once. Have yet to test it

I have a modded Xbox and was looking for a controller for emulators. I got this 3rd party controller given back to me and it had a bad dpad. Swapped in a Xbox 360 dpad but it didn't help at first. I decided to add a shim on the back of the controller from a busted dvd drive. Now it's one of the Best

Saw a CRT in the wild

My 90s RCA tv has 2 s-video inputs. It would suck to use a higher end port for composite say for an NES. But the RCA doesn't switch off the composite jacks when s-video is connected like a lot of TVs do with a mechanical switch. Instead it senses which port is active so the 2 inputs are like 4! 🤓

Couldn't remember if I probably adopted this tv yet

This is pretty neat. Have this wiimote with face buttons that don't work and I haven't been wanting to take it apart to find out why but the NES classic controller can plug into it and I can still use it that way

Things I like about thrift: Find a tv stand from 1997 with heavy casters made for the heavy CRT I'm about to put it on. Environmentally friendly option of getting furniture. Smart! Things I dont like about it: Smells like dogs from a house that was probably not very clean. Comes with a cum rag.🤢

Sitting on the floor and playing NES on the console tv is such an authentic experience. First you turn the tv on and there's no picture, you turn it on again and then the screen pops and flashes. then you turn it on again and it makes an explosion noise. Then you turn it on again and play the game!!

DO become a musician and/or artist. DO become obsessed with music and art. It may or may not pay the bills (primarily due to unknowable cosmic whimsy) but it absolutely will make your life more magical and strange and interesting.
