I watched my grandmother pass away from Progressive Bulbar Palsy, which is a subset of ALS. Watched her go from normal to not being able to speak or eat within a few months.

Sometimes I hate that me and my bf are on completely opposite work schedules. It's hard being a night shifter with him working 6 AM-3 PM Mon-Fri. Luckily, I only work 3 nights a week so it makes it somewhat easier, but it sucks when I want to hang out with him and he has to go to bed early. 😔
