Korea beats Canada, and Canada will miss the playoffs in mixed doubles for the second consecutive Winter Olympics.

With their win against Sweden, Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin are into the playoffs! They played their best game of the tournament when it mattered the most.

Absolute pandemonium in the Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium right now.

In draws where Italy is on the ice, teams are having a hard time hearing each other. Last month, I asked Cory and Korey how they plan to navigate the change from quiet clubs to a loud arena.

You never want the playoffs to determined by Draw Shot Challenge scores. But if we get to that point, Canada, Italy, and USA are currently in the bottom half of the DSC standings.

Norway needs a win to keep their playoff dreams alive. Italy needs a win to keep themselves from the bubble.

With their win against the USA, Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat have Great Britain into the playoffs. They will play for a medal in mixed doubles!

What a pick for Isabella Wranå, and Italy is handed their second loss by Sweden. Sweden stays alive, and Italy still has games against Great Britain and USA!

It is going to take Canada, US, Great Britain, and Italy losing to any of the field for someone else to edge their way into the playoffs. Those four are 13-0 against the rest of the field so far. GB has yet to play the other three. Otherwise only US and Italy still face off.

There has been some talk about the yellow rocks on sheet A in Cortina, but Dropkin and Thiesse are both playing great with those rocks through the first two ends. Sounds loud in the stadium today with Italy putting on a show versus Estonia.
