We were one point away from all three games of the men's trials finishing 6-7. Crisis averted.

A new era! Team Casper wins the USA Curling men's Olympic Trials! Incredible shot-making all series, and now they are Team USA and playing for their chance to go to the Olympics.

Not sure if the shot Shuster called was there, but still managed to pick out one. Down two without hammer in the 10th. The way Team Casper is playing, feels like it's going to take a lot of things to go wrong for this to flip back to Shuster.

Casper sinks his draw perfectly. Feels like it is getting out of reach for Shuster.

The odds like Team Casper. They are consistently giving Team Shuster high difficulty shots.

It all comes down to this. The third and final game of the US men's curling Olympic Trials is underway. Shuster trying to win his 6th consecutive trials. Casper on the verge of doing what nobody else could over the last 20 years.

The final game of the USA Curling Olympic Trials starts in 90 minutes. Who are you picking? The veterans, Team Shuster, or the emergent challengers, Team Casper?

It's games like that where I wish more people in the US were into curling and it was bigger on TV. Danny Casper, Colin Hufman, John Shuster. They deserve so much more recognition than they get. What a treat for those of us that were tuned in.

Shuster wins an absolutely electric game two. One of the most entertaining games I have seen. Folks, we get another 10 ends of this tomorrow.

Ended up being a draw for 2 for Shoostie. Violette made a really nice upweight shots on his last to help limit the damage.

Regardless of outcome, this is such an awesome game of curling.

Team Peterson wins the Olympic Trials in a two-game sweep! Next stop on their Olympic journey: Kelowna, British Columbia for the Olympic Qualifying Event

Taking in the opportunity to watch some long track speedskating.

Laura Dwyer and Steve Emt weathered a furious comeback from Ricker/Samsa in game two to sweep the series and win the Paralympic Trials for Wheelchair Mixed Doubles. The reigning national champions secure their spot in Italy!

The ability of Danny Casper to stay level-headed and relaxed cannot be called out enough. He still has work to do to win this Olympic Trials, but to see a 24-year-old not be so nonchalant when the lights are bright and the moments are big is really something.

Tab Peterson is one win away from an Olympic Trials victory. Really enjoyed the how much fun all of Team Cousins seemed to be having throughout that game. Made it that much more fun as a viewer.

Taylor Anderson-Heide might be the MVP of game 1 of the women's finals in Sioux Falls. She has had to be everywhere on the broom this game. Huge hold of the line for 3 in the 8th.

I had heard some talk recently about some Kelce's trying out curling in Sioux Falls. Sounds like today is the day.

About 50 or so people have shown up, and there is so much conversation, you can't hear the commentary. This is how it's supposed to be.

Hebert may be winless with one game to go, but they've shown glimpses of their potential all week. They're going to be a major player in coming years, and this Olympic Trials experience should be a huge stepping stone and learning experience for them.

Shuster and Peterson are officially into the best-of-3 finals. A win for Cousins and Casper tonight, and those teams would also be moving on as well. It sounds like the tiebreaker draw would be used, regardless of head-to-head results, if any teams have a tied record.
