Find it weirdly satisfying that in Jan/Feb we got a Silent Hill movie and a Resident Evil game, and in September, we'll get a Resident Evil movie and a Silent Hill game. Especially after years of nothing Silent Hill at all.

A while back we had the wonderful opportunity to pitch a Red Dwarf adventure game directly to Doug Naylor himself. While the project didn't end up going ahead, we're now free to share some of the work we produced for the pitch!

I think if your game is pretty far removed from what GTA 6 is, you'd probably be better off launching closer to that than trying to join a 50 game scramble in September and October.

Finished 007 First Light last night. Minor quibbles about combat and a couple of crashes during heavy gunfire, but so, so impressed with what IOI has done with Bond. A satisfying return to the theatrical side of Bond whilst retaining the tougher edge of Craig-era 007.

007 First Light's boot up to main menu musical build is excellent. I get practically giddy waiting for that Bond theme stab to hit every damn time.

Lots of fans of English teams who embarrassed themselves this season suddenly high and mighty about the result of a final they weren't even to close to.

Feels a bit personal that the first major trophy we won in decades came while I was at the cinema, while the two finals we lost I was among fans, but thems the breaks. I will break this 21-year duck of not seeing Arsenal win a trophy in a public space.

Backrooms was good. Wasn't into the human drama of the story all that much, but the higher budget take on those infamous spaces was so captivating. Some genuinely unnerving surreal bits in there.

A lot of folks I respect for their creative output have made the dunce move of working with the shittiest kind of AI. Often countering the very ethos their career has personified. It's an increasingly ridiculous move, and I guarantee 90% of those people will get it was a dunce move in time.
