I've joined colleagues writing to the PM about more than 80 students in Gaza who've won places at UK universities. Sadly they are being prevented by an administrative hurdle to provide biometric data for student visas. There is no Visa Application Centre in Gaza that can record their biometric data.

I have written to the govt about this debacle which has left 1000s of drivers without transport. The handling of this recall has been abysmal and Citroen and Stellantis need to do better to support customers.

Fantastic news for Chiltern Railways and their passengers. I worked with Chiltern to lobby the Secretary of State for funding for new carriages and we got the result we wanted! I'll continue to work with Chiltern, Network Rail and local residents to address noise issues at the Stourbridge depot.

When the Israeli government shrugs off calls from 31 countries to end the war, the time for words is over. We need strong action to save the people of Gaza and the West Bank and ensure there is a state left to recognise.

The UN has written to the UK govt raising concerns about the UC and PIP Bill and Green Paper. They state they have "credible information" that the Bill will "deepen the signs of regression" for disabled people's rights and notes the lack of consultation on all proposed policies. Pull the Bill.

Tomorrow MPs will debate Report Stage and 3rd Reading of the Welfare Bill. I tabled my own amendment to insource assessments and I've signed several other amendments. But this Bill still contains cuts. Nobody came here to put more people in poverty.

For "humanitarian zone" read forceable displacement and ethnic cleansing. More war crimes made into IDF policy.

No one who is going through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss should have to go back to work before they are ready. Labour is amending the Employment Rights Bill to allow parents to take time off work if they experience pregnancy loss at any stage. Thanks to Sarah Owen MP for campaigning for this 💗

I've signed a letter by my colleague Tony Vaughn raising serious concerns to EHRC about the Draft Code of Practice consultation following the Supreme Court ruling. It's vital that EHRC reconsider its response and approach to ensure legal clarity and the fundamental rights, safety and dignity of all.

I have tabled an amendment to the Universal Credit and (Personal Independence Payments) Bill to end outsourcing to 5 profit making private companies and require health assessment staff to be employed by the government.

Hearing Israel has agreed to a 60 day ceasefire pending Hamas agreement. Meanwhile children and adults are dying of malnutrition and IDF targeted a cafe killing dozens. 60 days isn't a ceasefire, we need permanent peace and a future for Palestine.

Today I voted against the Welfare Bill. The PIP clause was pulled mid debate but £billions in UC health element cuts remained. I'm glad the govt is listening and hope further common ground can be found.

I have signed a new reasoned amendment on behalf of every disabled person and backed by 138 disability organisations. We must be their voice today. I didn't come here to make people worse off. That's why I'm voting against this Bill.

I've been asking questions about the Green Paper and Welfare Reforms since they were announced. My concerns have not been alleviated by "concessions" and there's now a concern about breach of human rights and international law. I'll be voting against.
