Yes, fair-minded observers already know that the incumbent president and his team have engaged in some breathtaking corruption. But a giant, taxpayer-financed reparations fund for Trump’s pals represents a new low.

Doug Tallamy's years-long research has shown that one pair of Chickadees requires 6,000 to 9,000 caterpillars to raise one clutch of young. To support birds, stop all landscape-wide poisons & plant more natives, particually oak trees. Read:

Small acts of kindness may seem inconsequential, but they aren't. They accumulate in a little pocket in your heart until it is so full and overflowing there's nothing to do except share them by creating your own. 💛🩷🤍

Claytonia caroliniana is not considered a rare wildflower, but it’s uncommon, growing only above 2,000 ft. elevation and in heavily glaciated, wet, rocky areas, usually facing N or E. It’s also edible & animals often eat them.

Again this should inspire wall-to-wall media coverage for months. The crowning achievement of the Civil Rights Movement is dead. Black people just lost all of their remaining political power in the South. This is a monumental moment in American history that simply isn't being treated as such.

Hummingbird nests are quite small, so check for them before cutting back shrubs this spring. Hummingbirds not only sip nectar, they consume huge numbers of small insects while raising their young, especially. Hummingbirds are lovely & entertaining additions to any sustainable, unpoisoned yard.
