It is 2068, the last four billionaires sit under the dead Earth in their bunker. They pass a bag of grubby money around calling it a loan and calculating the interest and growth of their wealth. Once a day they fire the corpse of a guard. They have never felt more fulfilled.

My latest piece for Frieze is on the Basic Income for the Arts scheme in Ireland. A fantastic success, the pilot has now been made permanent - a model for other EU countries to follow.

New teapot. This one is by Wen Bing, who is the son of a good friend. This is the second teapot of his I've picked up and won't be the last. The two things that got me about this teapot is the lid being very delicate and perfectly fitted and the bottom having a doughnut shape.
