Prioritize your mental health as we go into ‘25, you’ll be eternally grateful

White American culture is mediocre. Let’s use the right language. Black folks have always known we had to work twice as hard to sometimes not even get a seat at the table.. Lucky for Black women, we made our own 🫶🏽

You gotta be the biggest hater if you’re willing to suffer so that other people don’t have access.

Class consciousness isn’t real for me bc wtf it took you so long to believe my existence is important???

Please stop coddling your sons. They are grownnnnnn

Please stop calling yourself lazy. You’re not lazy! You’re oppressed.

Black women, please let your anger out so you’re not at risk for an autoimmune disorder.

thisssss is what I’m taking into 2025. you cannot pour from an empty cup. fill yours to the top and everyone else should get the leftovers.

Who are you outside of your trauma?

I really don't feel like I'm the same person as I was several years ago due to not just how much institutions have let me down but also due to how much so many people who I've respected have let me down.

What is the reason you would tell someone their standards are too high? That’s a red flag for me bc why you want them to settle????

“Sometimes people can’t support you publicly because of how they talk about you privately.”

If you would stop leading with what you can do for them, maybe people would stop asking you to do so much.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt is where you messed up.

I’ve made so many mistakes and I’m apologizing to myself by changing my behavior.

I encourage you to put yourself first so that you have the capacity to help others.

You cannot tell me how I should respond to someone hurting me.

If you think a woman loses value after sleeping with men, you believe men are worthless. I don’t make the rules.

My hope for you in 2025 is that you stop talking to people who keep hurting you.

I love being able to lay in the bed till I feel like getting up

I stopped to smell the roses these past few days and glad I did

I just keep telling myself that my future is bright. Things will get better. My life is beautiful. I have so much to be grateful for. This is only the beginning! I deserve to watch my life play out 🥺 I’m becoming a better version of myself every day! And I have to give myself grace 🩷

Please do not use AI for therapy. They can’t even get diagnoses right when I put the exact symptoms in from the DSM 5.

Honestly, I don’t think you pop your shit enough. Do more of that!
