Had my last check-in for the year with my diss supervisor and, with the promise of a last polish, got the 👍🏼 to send my last content chapter to the committee. Then I think we’re on a little break until January… inasmuch as one goes on a break while writing a dissertation, I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pre-ordered from @bookshop.org ages ago and finally arrived. Clearly Katabasis is a PhD book so I really need to finish my chapter so I can read this.

Heading into the 5th year of PhD (not my arm).

Today’s conversation with PhD chair was mostly about being held to a higher standard because he knows I can do it. I actually don’t mind it - I’m glad to work with someone who cares about what I can/can’t do, and pushes me towards quality work.
