We're not supposed to install software on computers at the new job, but I'm hoping they give a little leeway to us techs. I'm told Firefox is OK, but I've had to add a few programs that I can't work effectively without: everything.exe, Greenshot, and Gimp. Plus a few registry tweaks.

Took my Kodak Charmera for a walk during my lunch break. The sun was so bright I could barely see the screen. It also temporarily seized up while shooting. I didn't have anything on hand to press the reset button, but it powered back on after a few. Hopefully I got something interesting!

I've grown increasingly uncomfortable with candid photos of attractive women in public places. I like a pretty face as much as the next guy, but there are times when the photos feel exploitive — especially when the subject looks annoyed by the camera's intrusion.

Haven't been taking a ton of photos lately, but I've been printing quite a few. Yesterday I bought 4 11x14" canvases for my office wall at work — only one of which had ever been printed on any medium. CVS has them on sale for $12. Obviously not high end production, but the printing is pretty good.

A padded bongo drum carry bag may be the perfect candidate to use for a single studio strobe light! It's cheap at under $20, and looks a lot nicer than carrying around the tattered cardboard box the light came in.
