I’ve only gotten to create art for a couple of book covers, long ago under a pseudonym. So long ago that I don’t even have the artwork anymore, just the books themselves! But I’m still very proud of these. Being a book cover illustrator was always my dream job, and I hope to do more someday.

I had my regularly scheduled stress dream about being a nanny but this time it was set in a future alternate reality where all of the tech and daily social systems and the governing body (called The Talent) were completely different than ours which made it even scarier but honestly a lot more fun.

The best part of the trip, the sand pit.

We spent yesterday at “Big Tiny”, a tiny house on a lavender farm. It was amazing to be there for Phoebe’s first time seeing farm animals! She met goats and alpacas, waded through the chickens, and fiercely “fended off” the huge shepherd dogs even though she was so scared!
